I am so TIRED! Of Everything!! Nothing ever seems to work out. You know how when things go wrong, you just tell yourself that it'll get better? Then you wait and wait, waiting for it to either fix itself or for something, anything to happen. We all know the old (maybe new) proverb, when one door closes the other door opens. Well my doors have closed, where are all these other doors?? Do I have to keep searching for them until I find it?
Actually, do you want to know what the really messed up part is? You don't? Well, I'm going to tell you anyways. Its how everyone always says that its in college that you have to find yourself, and how there's so many options for you to consider. . For example, if you don't like your major, change it. If you don't get accepted to one, go get another one. You are free to make mistakes, and learn from them. Well you know what! While making all these mistakes, and not getting into my major I am not only wasting my time, but my money as well.
I feel as if I am in some weird portal where time doesn't move, and I am stuck in this sickening point of no return, or future. Its as if my life has just frozen. That no matter what I do, I just don't seem to move. Yeah. Sure I'm going to graduate, but not with the degree I want. Not with the occupation I am finally determined to have. I don't want to quit, but I don't know where to go from here.

Realizing Maturity
"I can't believe the generation of kids nowadays. I remember when we were young we..."
PAUSE.
Don't you just hate those words? Those are the very words that finally make you realize that you are no longer a child. You are now able to compare your life then, to the younger generations life now and once you realize this very important fact, you feel old. Wow, you think, I have turned into my parents and grandparents. All of a sudden, all at once, a lot of things start to make sense.
Remember when you were much younger than you are now, and your parents wouldn't let you do certain things? For example, your 13 years old and you really wanted to buy this one dress. It was pink with baby blue designs and it was just the kind of dress you've always wanted. It was perfect, and it looked just like the dresses you saw the actresses wearing on TV. However, according to your parents it was too tight, and way too short. You think to yourself ( and even say some aloud )"thats not fair! why not? all my other friends get to wear stuff like this, I never get to do anything" and now fast-forward a few years and you meet someone with the same dilemma, and what do you reply? Do you say, of course go ahead I understand? Or is it more along the line of "DUDE your only 13!!? exactly.
Yes, in the beginning I felt old when I first realized it. However, it soon transformed into wonder. I have matured. Wow, thats amazing!
